Overview
Bianca combines strategic advocacy with a track record of securing favorable verdicts and cost-effective resolutions. Bianca is an accomplished trial attorney who represents clients in complex civil litigation matters, with particular emphasis on defending transportation entities, healthcare providers, social service agencies, and businesses in high-exposure personal injury, wrongful death and civil rights cases. Prior to joining Pretzel & Stouffer, Bianca was a career public servant for 15 years as a trial attorney with state, county, city, and municipal entities of government; practicing in both state and federal courts.
Drawing on her experience litigating numerous jury trials and resolving multi-million dollar claims favorably, Bianca brings valuable insight and expertise to the firm. Her background includes successful defense of catastrophic injury claims, complex civil rights litigation, and high-stakes commercial disputes.
Outside of being a trial attorney, Bianca has served in several leadership roles in local bar associations. As the first African American elected to the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) Cook County “Under 37” Board of Governors seat; second and youngest African American ABA At-Large Delegate from Cook County to be elected; and nine term ARDC hearing board member adjudicating attorney discipline matters, she has worked to advance professional standards and diversity in the legal community. She has been recognized with the ISBA’s Presidential Commendation and Young Lawyer of the Year Award for her professional achievements and contributions to the legal community
