Overview

Thomas Flowers attends to his clients’ needs with detail, bringing a thorough approach to litigation that results in better outcomes. He confronts issues with a rational and analytical style that builds cases towards success.

Prior to joining Pretzel & Stouffer, Thomas worked at a premier civil defense firm in Chicago concentrating his trial practice primarily on excess catastrophic loss cases in the areas of medical malpractice, civil rights, trucking, and premises liability. There, he participated in the preparation and litigation of numerous matters, a dozen of which resulted in trial. This experience provided Thomas with the tools and knowledge to develop client matters thoughtfully, with the best possible result in mind.

Thomas’ legal background extends back over a decade to when he first clerked at Pretzel & Stouffer while he was in high school as part of a legal summer program. Since that time, he has accumulated a wealth of experience interning, clerking, and litigating at various legal firms, both Plaintiff and Defense, as well as at prosecutorial institutions.

Thomas’ current practice focuses on medical professional liability along with environmental litigation for national clients, to which he brings he detailed approach.

Outside of work, Thomas enjoys adventuring to far-away places as well as adventuring in table-top games. An avid traveler and board-gamer, Thomas enjoys sharing these experiences with friends as well as volunteering time with local non-profit Barrel of Monkeys, whose mission is to develop the written voice of children in Chicago’s public schools.
