With an innate ability to anticipate her opponent’s next steps, Caity has an adaptable practice style that keeps her client’s objectives attainable even on a shifting playing field.
Her early trial experience has shaped her approach to cases, ensuring that her client’s risk and exposure are limited from the outset of a case. Caity’s practice is concentrated in civil defense litigation in the areas of professional liability, commercial litigation, and tort defense.
Caity represents accountants, attorneys, corporate directors, insurance producers and other professionals in claims alleging breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and common law and statutory fraud. Her commercial litigation experience involves defending corporate directors and officers in breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty claims.
In her tort defense work, Caity defends corporations, management companies and individual defendants in personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Caity has experience with trucking and auto negligence claims.
Her persuasive legal writing skills have resulted in the successful dismissal of a variety of claims, capping risk and mitigating financial responsibility for her clients.
