Zach is an associate with Pretzel & Stouffer, Chartered. He focuses on civil defense litigation, including products liability, professional malpractice and commercial matters. Before joining the firm, Zach served as a judicial law clerk to Cook County Circuit Court Judge William D. Maddux. As a law clerk, he drafted many opinions, orders and advisory memoranda while also managing the externship program for the court’s Law Division.

While earning his law degree at DePaul University, Zach completed judicial externships with Cook County Circuit Court judges Maureen Durkin Roy and Charles Winkler. He was also a member of the DePaul Journal of Health Care Law and a research assistant for Professor Song Richardson.
