Tom is an associate attorney with Pretzel & Stouffer, Chartered. He focuses on civil defense litigation, including professional liability, commercial litigation and tort defense.

As a summer associate at Pretzel & Stouffer in 2009, Tom was immersed in the firm’s culture and was immediately exposed to the diligence and preparation needed to represent clients effectively. A skilled and creative writer, Tom was recognized for his legal writing capabilities in law school and continues to refine those fundamental skills today. Tom has significant experience preparing pleadings, answering and propounding discovery, and drafting dispositive motions. In addition to his trial work, Tom has developed an interest in administrative law and has helped to craft legal documents submitted to various state, municipal and private agencies.

In his spare time, Tom enjoys participating in recreational sports, including basketball, 16-inch softball, and golf.
