An associate at Pretzel & Stouffer, Chartered, Rena focuses on defending clients in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. She also has assisted in the defense of products liability cases and contract disputes. Her legal career began at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where she tried more than 200 bench and jury trials to verdict.

Rena graduated from college at Delta State University in Cleveland, Miss., with four-year honors, and earned a master’s degree in social work from Florida State University. She then worked for several years as a master’s-level social worker before attending law school at DePaul University.
