David is an associate attorney with Pretzel & Stouffer, Chartered, where he practices civil defense litigation. David concentrates his practice on defending medical malpractice and premises liability claims throughout Illinois. He is experienced in all phases of the litigation process, from detailed investigation through jury verdict at trial. He has achieved success in numerous pretrial disputes, including those involving pleadings, discovery and summary judgment.

David earned his law degree at the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University, receiving dean’s honors as well as recognition for highest performance in Federal Communications Law & Policy. While in law school, he competed in the oral and written portions of the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition. David also served as a judicial law clerk for Washtenaw County Court Judge Darlene A. O’Brien in Ann Arbor, Mich.
