Attorney Bio

Charisse is an associate attorney with Pretzel & Stouffer, Chartered. She handles a wide variety of civil disputes in state and federal courts. She focuses on civil defense litigation, including complex products liability and toxic injury matters, premises liability, tort, commercial litigation and professional malpractice defense.

Charisse attended the University of Michigan, where she received her undergraduate degree in 2003. She also completed a research and study program in international territorial disputes. She then attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she received her law degree in 2007. Charisse studied in Europe for Loyola’s Oxford/European Legal Institutions Program in 2005. She excelled in Loyola’s nationally ranked Moot Court program, competing on the National Wagner Employment Law Team and on the Moot Court Health Law Team. In addition, Charisse was a judicial extern with former Cook County Circuit Court Judge Stuart Nudelman.

Before joining Pretzel & Stouffer, Chartered, Charisse litigated catastrophic injuries in road construction cases, complex contractual disputes and insurance coverage matters.
