Pretzel & Stouffer Wins Defense Victory for Surgeon in Fibroadenoma Case

Pretzel & Stouffer attorneys Brian T. Henry and Christine Iversen obtained a verdict in favor of a general surgeon in a trial before Cook County Circuit Judge William Haddad. The plaintiff claimed that the surgeon failed to properly diagnose and treat a fibroadenoma in her right breast, allowing it to increase in size until it weighed almost seven pounds and requiring the removal of most of her right breast and subsequent reconstructive surgeries.
